Maintaining Meaningful Connections
We recognize that positive relationships and healthy support systems do not end at discharge. One of the unique aspects of our program is our commitment to maintaining healthy and supportive connections with youth who have successfully completed treatment.
When appropriate, former residents may be invited to participate in select program events, outings, and special trips.
Youth who have successfully discharged prior to a scheduled trip may be eligible to attend if:
-
Guardian or legal representative approval is obtained
-
A parent, guardian, or approved adult accompanies the youth when required
-
Participation is determined to be safe and appropriate
-
Program capacity and logistics allow for participation
This approach helps maintain positive connections, reinforces progress made during treatment, and allows youth to continue experiencing a sense of belonging and community even after leaving the program.

Creating Lasting Memories
While treatment focuses on healing and growth, we also believe youth deserve opportunities to experience fun, adventure, and positive life experiences. Through structured outings, special trips, and continued connections, we strive to create experiences that build confidence, strengthen relationships, and leave youth with lasting memories that support their journey toward long-term success.
Every outing is viewed as an opportunity for growth. Whether participating in recreational activities, volunteering in the community, exploring new interests, or traveling to new destinations, youth are encouraged to apply the skills learned in treatment while developing independence, confidence, responsibility, and a stronger connection to the world around them.
Our goal is to help youth build meaningful relationships, create positive experiences, discover new opportunities, and develop the skills necessary to thrive both during and after treatment.
